FAST shine at Counties Manukau Prizegiving

FAST had a fantastic afternoon at Counties Manukau Prize giving yesterday, with our most successful year so far.

Leading the honours were Libby Murphy who was named the Counties Manukau 10 Year old Girls champion and Blake Elliott who was named the 11 Year old Boys Champion.
We also had many of our swimmers take out placings at the Champs:
Leon Duke - 3rd placed 9 Year old Boy
Lily Walton - 3rd placed 10 Year old Girl
Nathan Hickmott - 3rd placed 11 Year old Boy
Erin O'Mara - 3rd placed 12 Year old Girl
Brandon Walton - 2nd placed 12 Year old Boy
Brandon won the trophy for best performance in all the Individual Medley events at Counties Champs.
Overall, FAST were the 3rd placed club at Counties Manukau Champs.
FAST also placed 3rd at the Counties Manukau Short Course Champs held in October and came 3rd in last year's Dolphin League.
This is a huge achievement for our club, many congratulations to everyone.
As someone said to me yesterday, FAST really punch above their weight!.
