Swim Coaches and Teachers of New Zealand is an organization representing the needs of professional swim teachers, coaches and providers across New Zealand.

NZSCTA is committed to the growth and prosperity of aquatic activities: swimming as an essential life skill; components of health and fitness; and competitive sport. We seek to improve professional standards through education, accreditation, professional development and ethical practice.

MISSION

The organisation is dedicated to developing world leading practice in education; accreditation, professional development and ongoing support for New Zealand Swim Coaches and Teachers.
 

 

OBJECTIVES - Long term core business objectives of NZSCTA are:

  • To be recognised as the leading and influential best practice providers in the aquatic industry of our core business
  • To provide quality education and training opportunities for members and partner organisations
  • To ensure effective communication with members, partners, sponsors, the media and community
  • To support members through developing sustainable funding, networks and initiatives to ensure a public voice
  • To be proactive in establishing partnerships and collaborative practice
