The 2018 Pan Pacs Championships occurs every two years and will be held in Tokyo, Japan from Thursday the 9th of August to Monday the 13th of August.
The 2018 Junior Pan Pacific Championships is a long course meet, occurring every two years and will be held in Suva, Fiji from Thursday the 23rd of August to Sunday the 26th of August. Swimmers had to achieve the qualification standards at the 2018 AON New Zealand Open Championships in July to be selected.
The 2018 State Teams Championships is a short course meet and will be held at the Australian Institute of Sport, Canberra from Wednesday 3 to Friday 5 October 2018. The event is a team based competition, in which state teams go head-to-head in a variety of individual and relay events to score points for their state.
The FINA World Junior Open Water Swimming Championships are currently held every two years, in even years, and gives young open water swimmers between 14 and under the age of 19 an opportunity to compete at the highest level. This year's FINA World Junior Open Water Swimming Championships is scheduled to take place in Eilat, Israel over three-days, from 6 - 8 September 2018.
The Oceania Swimming Championships are currently held every two years, in even years. The hosts for these Championships, Port Moresby and the Papua New Swimming Federation, have established an Organising Committee (PNG 2018 Oceania), which shall be in charge of the preparation and organisation of the competitions. The Championships include swimming (four days), synchronized swimming (four days), and open water swimming (two days). It is anticipated that 18 countries will compete in this year's 12th Oceania Swimming Championships over 5 days, from 25 - 30 June 2018.

The Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games (GC2018) will welcome more than 6,600 athletes and team officials from 71 Commonwealth nations and territories to the Gold Coast and event cities Brisbane, Cairns and Townsville, to share in the celebration of sport, entertainment and culture from the 4 - 15 April 2018.
