Backstroke Ledges are available for swimmers to use at the Sir Owen G Glenn National Aquatic Centre during competition. It will be the swimmers choice whether they use these or not. These are to be installed and removed by technical officials only. If a swimmer does not wish to use a backstroke ledge they will ask the IOT for their lane to remove it. Please see below two videos on the installation and removal of the backstroke ledges.
