Event Accreditations will be issued to successful applicants subject to Swimming New Zealand’s sole discretion and provided their Organisation or Publication (or the individual themselves if applicable) has completed an application and signed the Swimming New Zealand Accreditation Terms & Conditions attached to the application form.
Swimming New Zealand is committed to maintaining the fundamental character of sporting competition as an honest test of skill and ability and to prevent Match-Fixing from undermining the integrity of swimming.
Swimming New Zealand administers the SNZ Rewards Programme on behalf of all SNZ members. The SNZ Rewards Programme recognise and rewards the achievements of NZ Swimmers setting New Zealand Open, Commonwealth and World Records and achieving medal performances at Short Course and Long Course Pinnacle events.
The objectives of the Disputes and Disciplinary Policy are to determine alleged breaches of the Code of Conduct and Member Protection Policy. To resolve disputes that may arise between members and To make decisions on appeals by a Member against a decision of a Regional Association or Member Club involving suspension, expulsion, penalty or material detriment to the Member.
The Member Protection Policy has been developed to provide an outline of Swimming New Zealand’s responsibilities and the responsibilities of affiliated organisations and individuals associated with Swimming New Zealand, on a range of key issues such as child protection, anti-discrimination, harassment etc.
