The start of something extraordinary

Club Night

The Whakatane Swim Club hosts regular Club Nights in the summer season to provide swimmers with opportunities to compete for new and improved times in different events.

In Summer 2016 these club nights are from 6-7:30pm and all ages are welcome, from Kingfish to Makos. Dinner can be purchased for $5 after club night.

It also provides an environment where parents can get together and become involved in the club as a volunteer.

Club Night Objectives

· Allow all family / whanau members to have  fun, competing or not.

· Allows swimmers and parents alike to learn swimming rules.

· Gives swimmers the opportunity to compete without high pressure.

· Use as a training ground for swimmers and officials alike.

· Encourages swimmers to try new strokes and distances.

· Encourage personal development of swimmers.

· Provide a friendly and controlled environment.
