Anna Tootill - Appointed Member

Anna is a keen recreation sportsperson and was been an active member in Surf Lifesaving for a number of years, during that time she was actively involved in competition and the training/coaching of junior guards.

Anna Tootill has over 15 years’ experience in the accounting, legal & tax environment as both a key member of various large corporates and as a trusted external advisor.   Anna’s success to date has been achieved through her personal core values of trust, integrity, commitment and hard work combined with strong commercial acumen and strategy skills.  Anna also has a strong sporting background and has recently been selected to be part of the Sport NZ Women in Governance Mentor programme. In addition to that she holds the current role as Chair of Waikato University Combined Sports.

Anna is committed to helping Swimming NZ achieve its objectives in the immediate and long term future.

Swimming Background/Knowledge

Anna was actively involved in Surf Lifesaving for a number of years, as both a competitor and in the training/coaching of junior guards.  While she is no longer currently actively involved, Anna and her family’s life over summer revolves around recreation water activities including finding the best wave (on either coast) or flat water at a Lake.
