Success at 2016 Counties Manukau Age Group Championships

Papatoetoe Swimming Club wins 54 medals at the 2016 Counties Manukau Age Group Championships held at the Papatoetoe Centennial Pools from the 29th to 31st of January.

The leader of the clubs medal tally is Quintin Wong with a dominating performance of 13 Gold Medals, and 1 Silver Medals. He heads to next month's New Zealand Junior Championships with heaps of momentum. 

This was a very special competition for 8 year old junior Mia Wang who took out 3 Silver Medals, and 2 Bronze Medals in her VERY FIRST MEET!!

This meet was also a last chance for many of our juniors to qualify for the New Zealand Junior Championships. In the end we had Bronson Chungson and Hannah Iosefa making the quaifying times for next month's event. They join Quintin Wong, Tiaare Ahovelo, and Saul Wilson who make up the team representing Papatoetoe at Nationals.
