We had a very successful, if tiring, weekend at Auckland Juniors.
As always, thank you to Ria and Niki for all your support and encouragement to our wonderful swimmers.
We had a 70% pb rate. Our boys placed FAST 9th overall in the competition and our girls placed 21st, a fabulous achievement from such a small club.
Our star of the meet was Nathan who claimed 3 silver and 2 bronze medals and also placed in the top 10 in the rest of his swims. Not only that but Nathan became FAST's first NAGS swimmer qualifying in the 100 free and 100 back - Many congratulations!
Our other medal winner was Leon who won bronze medals in the 50 and 200 back and placed in the top 10 in three other events. Well done Leon.
Blake placed in the top 10 in seven swims, Libby got 5 top ten placings and Matthew came 6th in the 200 fly.
A massive well done to Molly who qualified for NZ Juniors in the 50 back. We now have 8 swimmers going to NZ juniors.
Mikaela added the 50 back to her swims at NZ Juniors and Matthew added the 200 fly and 200 IM.
Blake added the 200IM to his swims at Div II.
Well done to everyone, we are very proud of you all.
