This weekend is proving to be a big weekend for Wharenui, with a strong contingent of junior swimmers traveling down to Dunedin and some of our senior swimmers off to Australia. Eleanor Wilding is representing Wharenui at the Victorian Age Group Champs and Matt Phillips, Thomas Moot and William Campbell at the Queensland Champs. This is a fantastic opportunity to test their abilities against the best swimmers in Australia and New Zealand.
Erin, Holly R, Holly B, Bradley, Daniel, Marvin and Taiko make up the junior team heading down to Dunedin for the Otago Junior Champs over the weekend. This meet provides them with the opportunity to further qualify for NZ Juniors as well as getting used to racing in 50m pools.
