We are happy to announce the Stadium and Conferance room are now open!!! This has been a long process since it was damaged following the 2011 earthquakes but now the stadium and surrounding complex has been lifted up to standard and modernised ready for you!
The Sports Complex consists of one large basketball court / 2 netball courts side by side, fully functional conferance room and new changing rooms. The complex is complete with sound system and free WiFi provided by the City Council.
We encourage casual basketballers to come in and have some shots. Bookings are advised for Full Court Bookings due to the large number of sports groups/leagues that book out the complex in blocks.
We have a permanent booking from 6pm to closing from Monday to Friday so unfortunately the stadium is not available for casual play at those times.
The complex can be used for a varity of activities including exercises classes, netball competitions, martial arts, indoor football. The stadium can be hired by sports teams for indoor training sessions packaged with pool lane hire for recovery. If you have a sport that you think would work well inside - get in contact!
The Conferance Room is available to hire, with and without stadium hire, and includes AV equipment, a white board, fully-equipped adjoining kitchen and seating and tables for 40 people. New changing rooms adjacent to the stadium are available for use.
