A successful weekend away for our junior team saw them collect 192 points at the New Zealand Junior Champs. This points tally gave them the title of most successful club from the Canterbury/West Coast region. Congratulations to all our swimmers who qualified and went to this event. Special mention to our place getters in 2016 with national titles going to Daniel Bridgman in the 50m Backstroke and the 50m Fly. Daniel also came in 2nd in the 100m Back, 3rd in the 200m Back as well as the 50m Free. Taiko Torepe-Ormsby came 2nd 50m Back, 3rd 50m Fly and was part of the 2nd placed SCWC Regional Relay team. The team swam really well with lots of PB's and Top 10 placings - well done guys and we hope you enjoyed the experience! 2016 NZ Juniors Team: Holly Bridgman, Erin Hammond, Holly Rahurahu, Daniel Bridgman, Bradley Shearer, Taiko Torepe-Ormsby and Marvin Treacy.
