This week the database was moved from the testing platform to the live system meaning there is a new website address (https://aus-wrap.aptsolutions.net/snz-wrap-staff) and from next week a more user friendly, web address will be able to be used (database.swimming.org.nz).
Earlier this week the testing site for the database was taken offline to make some large updates but will still be available to use for practise and to test the functionality prior to doing things on the live site. Each time an update occurs it will go onto the test system prior to going live so that some testing can happen to ensure its correct operation before being implemented.
Also this week some new membership types were added to the database. These have been created as often people fall outside of the types that we currently have available. They are:
· Volunteer
· Friend of Swimming
· Recreational Swimmer
This will allow you to capture additional information on your wider membership community and will be especially useful for parents of young swimmers to be able to utilise the family relationship structure in the system. Parents can log into their own profile and have access to make changes to their children’s details, enter them into a meet or renew their membership.
Note that if you have other membership types within your club you can create these and then link them to a regional and national membership type.
Further information will be regularly released as developments happen within the system.
