The start of something extraordinary

NAGS TEAM BRING HOME THE MEDALS

Last week saw some oustanding results and an amazing effort from ALL of our NAGS swimmers in Wellington.  110 clubs from around the country, together with international teams competed at this event, with PSC finishing 6th overall.  A huge achievement with a team of only 10 swimmers.

Pukekohe has 3 National Age Group Champions, taking 10 National Titles between them.

Leading our amazing medal haul was Zac Dell with 4 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze, closely followed by Tavarnya Howe with 3 gold and 2 silver medals.  Kiana Swain also came home with a total of 5 medals, 3 Gold, 1 Silver and 1 Bronze and Rebecca a bronze in the 200m back.  There was some very strong competition for our team and all our swimmers made finals either individually and/or in our relay team.

PSC is an extremely proud club at the moment.  Our national results this swimming year have been amazing, ranking Top 10 at NZ SC Champs, NZ Open Water, NZ Juniors and now NZ Age Group Champs.

A massive thank you to Head Coach Sue Cheyne, for leading such a strong team of both coaches and swimmers.
