Swim Whakatane train at the Whakatane Aquatic Centre.
Heated indoor 25m pool.
This seven-lane, ramped, 25-metre pool is graduated from 1.05 – 2.0 m. It has space for lane swimming, aqua jogging and activities such as Underwater Hockey with a normal water temperature of 28 degrees.
Heated outdoor 33m pool. Open 1 September - 28 April.
The six-lane, 33-metre seasonal pool has a depth of 1.1 m – 2.7 m and is heated between 23 - 26 degrees. Provides space for lane swimming, Aqua Jogging and great club activities such as Kayaking, Triathlon and Surf Lifesaving.
