Congratulations to all those swimmers who had a successful swim meet over the weekend! Held at Jellie Park the 53rd Wharenui Winter Olympics welcomed nearly 300 swimmers from throughout the South Island. A big well done to all our swimmers with plenty of PB's achieved and more swimmers achieving NZ Juniors, DIV II and Short Course times. Also a special congratulation goes to Taiko who broke the SCWC 50 Freestyle record for 12 year old boys, lowering it to 27.72! To all those swimmers that travelled from out of the region - we hope you enjoyed the meet and look forward to seeing you again next year. Finally a big thankyou to all the officials and Wharenui parents who made this meet possible.
