Koru the State Kiwi Swim Safe mascot came to visit the children and watch them practice their swimming and showed them some dry land drills that they could do at home.
Children told Koru they had been learning about kicking legs, some had learnt their arms and one wee girl had gone under the water for the very first time!
Koru had a chat to the lifeguard and to the learn to swim team at Jellie Park, everybody was enjoying the school holiday lessons. Maybe next holidays you too could book into a Quality Swim School and have just as much fun as they did here at Jellie Park.
