International swimmer Matthew Stanley has been included in the new SKY Next initiative launched today.
Matthew is part of 18 talented young Kiwi sports stars to receive sponsorship from SKY Television.
The programme has morphed from the Sport Connect programme devised and run by Marissa and Hamish Carter to help “good young athletes be great."
The initiative has now been comprehensively supported by SKY Television, providing important financial aid as well as assistance in media training, mentoring, coaching and publicity.
Matthew holds the national 200m and 400m freestyle records and is a London Olympian.
