Season for all swimmers is 1st August to 31st July annually.
What does it cost to be a Club swimmer?
Fees are dependent on the class and number of swims per week. Note: All swimmers 10 years and older need to be affiliated if they wish to swim in competitions
Training Days and Times:
Swimmers are allocated a class following an initial assessment. Assessments occur at the start of each term. Classes are limited to 8 swimmers and are subject to availability. The timetable can be found here.

Club Newsletter:
Wanganui Swimming Club publishes a newsletter at the start of each term, it contains information about upcoming events and news of interest to Club members.
Club Nights:
Club Nights are usually held once a term. Check the Events page for the next date.
Club Nights are a fun way for swimmers to be timed and to check their progress. Race distances range from 25m - 400m. It is a great way for club members to get together, including parents and caregivers. Club Night is run the same way as any swim meet, with swimmers marshalling prior to a race and following the race protocols. Parents are encouraged to stay, watch their children and to help by timekeeping or doing other jobs around the pool.
