The start of something extraordinary

Papatoetoe Winter Meet

Well done to everyone who swam at the weekend. The meet was quite a long meet rather than quite a short one! – sorry to our Officials, but a big thank you to everyone who stepped up and helped. If you weren’t on our list to timekeep but did so, can you let me know please.

A big thank you to Ria and Meg, you were outstanding as always.

Congratulations to Kyla Duke who qualified as an IOT at the weekend and also to Will Murphy who qualified as a Starter. We are really making some progress now with our Officials and we should be able to run our own meets within a very short space of time.

Well done to Leah Weck who was swimming at her first meet and clocked up some very good times. I hope you enjoyed yourself.

Our 100% pb’ers this meet were: Arun, Jenna, Ryan and Keegan. Well done!

A big congratulations to Grace who qualified as an Auckland Level 2 swimmer in the 200m back.

We have some new qualifiers for the major meets, congratulations to:

Auckland Juniors

Jessica added the 100m breast to her events.

Mikaela added the 100m free and 50m breast.

Ethan qualified in the 200m back to add to his swims.

Auckland Age Groups

Alexander added the 100m fly to his events

NAGS

Well done to Erin who got her first qualifying time for NAGS in the 50m Breast.
