Swim Rotorua athletes continued their medal winning form with superb racing at Aims Games 2016.
Joshua Balmer (12) John Paul College has won gold in a tense 200 Free, also taking bronze in the 100 IM and bronze in the 200IM. He was also a finalist in the 100 Freestyle.
Emily Spear (13) of Bethlehem College won bronze in the 200 freestyle, was a finalist in the 100IM and came an agonising 4th place in the 200 IM
Kapua Warbrick (13) of John Paul College swam in the finals of the 50 Breaststroke 200 IM, 200 breast, and 100 Breaststroke. She improved on her personal best times posted only hours before at the Bay of Plenty Short Course Champs, all the more imprfessive as she has only just turned 13.
Jasmine Hagan (11) of John Paul College won two medals - a bronze in the 200 Backstroke and silver in the 50 Backstroke. She was also a finalist in the 100 Backstroke.
