This weekend we have a small team of Wharenui swimmers representing their schools at the New Zealand Secondary School champs in Hamilton. Best of luck to Zac (Christchurch Boys High), Louis (Christ's College), Max (Christ's College), Bryn (St Andrew's College) who are competing against the best swimmers in New Zealand. Earlier this week we also had Hayley Cliffe (Westburn School), Hannah Ferguson (Cobham Intermediate) and Taiko Torepe Ormsby (Cathedral Grammer) competing in the New Zealand Aims Games at Mt Maunganui. A big well done to those who swum PB's and congratulations to Taiko who took out the 100 Free in a scintillating time of 59.77 and the 50 Back (30.03). Taiko also collected 2 Silver and 3 Bronzes throughout the meet.
Well done team! It is always great to see Wharenui swimmers representing their schools and we look forward to seeing you back in the pool in our red cap!
