The start of something extraordinary

Koru visits Wellington Airport

On Friday, Koru the kiwi visited Wellington airport to spread his swimming and water safety messages to all the kids on school holidays.

Koru flew in from Christchurch and spent a lot of his time greeting unsuspecting kids who were arriving into Wellington for their holidays. There were plenty of smiles and laughter as Koru provided a buzz of energy in the airport terminal.

A big thank you to Jo Maxwell from Wellington Airport and Teresa O'Keefe and Vasuda Mistry from State Insurance for the great work they did chatting with over 120 kids and their parents throughout the afternoon.
