Bluebridge Cook Strait Ferry has recently renewed its sponsorship of Swimming New Zealand. Now in its third year, Bluebridge provides support for SNZ’s clubs and regions through subsidised travel across Cook Strait for teams and individuals travelling to events. Details of how to access these discounts can be found here.
Bluebridge also support SNZ with Cook Strait travel vouchers which we use to recognise Technical Officials at national events and through access to travel on their ferries for SNZ vehicles and staff when we need to travel between the islands.
Over the last 12 months we have been working closely with Bluebridge to have Koru the Kiwi and the State Kiwi Swim Safe team on the Bluebridge during the school holidays to help promote the Swim & Survive message. This has gone really well and now some parents are specifically choosing the sailings that Koru will be on.
