North Canterbury Swim Club was formed in January 2011 as a merger between Kaiapoi Swim Club and Dudley Park Amateur Swim Club.
The current head coach of the club is
Brigitte Mahan with assistant coach Michaela Norman. Both are employed by the Waimakariri District Council to provide coaching services for all Waimakariri pools.
The club has a committee elected annually at an AGM. Meetings are held once a month. New members are always welcome.
In 2011, North Canterbury Swim Club was named Club of the Year at the Swim NZ Awards.
In 2012, Brigitte Mahan was named NZ Club Coach of the Year;
