The start of something extraordinary

Radford has final warm up before Pan Pacs

Kane Radford completed his third 10km race in as many weeks over the weekend at Lake Megnatic in Canada.

Radford finished 13th in the latest leg of the FINA 10km World Cup in a time of 2:23.52, one minute and 22 seconds behind race winner Allan Do Carmo of Brazil.

The Rotorua swimmer competed in the previous two legs of the FINA Open Water World Cup, also in Canada, with a 14th and 9th place finish.

Radford will next compete in the 10km open water event at the Pan Pacific Championships on August 25th at the Southport Marine Stadium in the Gold Coast, Australia.
