Welcome to the Whangarei Swim Club.
The Whangarei Amatuer Swimming Club was foundded in 1892 and is the oldest and largest swimming club in Northland. With a proud history of swimming from Learn to Swim to masters swimmers, our club has had swimmers go onto national and international success.
Our team spirit is found throughout all levels of the club, fostered on a tradition of inclusivity and family-volunteer support.
Our Head Coach Cameron Leslie is enthusiastic and has a background of swimming success. Liz Furey has a wealth of experience in swimming with WASC, Whangarei Masters and success in her own right.
At Whangarei Swim Club we offer a block Learn to Swim course each year for 5 year olds and over, Development level (stroke improvement) and Competitive Junior and Age Group Squads.
