Massive congratulations to Taiko Torepe-Ormsby who at the South Island Secondary Schools broke the current 13 year old SC New Zealand 50 Butterfly record. Taiko's new record stands at a crazy fast 26.42 for the race! He also joins an elite group of Wharenui swimmers who hold current New Zealand records. With 6 other Canterbury records in his age group, we wish him all the best in chasing down and lowering some more of those records.
