Swimming Waikato is pleased to announce that Gallagher Group will be the Principal Partner of Swimming Waikato.
"Gallaghers have been supporting Swimming Waikato for a couple of seasons and we are excited by the progress they are making. Seeing more kids in the water across our region is a real buzz and we look forward to seeing Lucy and her team taking another big step forward with this sponsorship" said Margaret Comer, Corporate Services Executive of Gallagher Group.
The Gallagher partnership will further strengthen development opportunities by creating camps and scholarships for swimmers and by supporting coaches, officials and the 23 regional clubs.
“We are hugely proud that Gallagher Group has recognised the role swimming plays and joined us on our journey”, said Simon Perry, Chair of Swimming Waikato.
Perry continued, “Aside from growing participation, this partnership will enable the rollout of our new performance development program, including training camps and scholarships for our young emerging swimmers. This will truly enable our "Swimming for Life" vision to become a reality and we can't thank the team at Gallagher enough."
Swimming Waikato is the regional body responsible for the development of swimming. It includes 23 Clubs and more than 2,000 swimmers.
