The Club welcomed in the new winter season with a very successful Club Championships at the Kelston Girls College pool on Sunday 6 May. With the increasing membership and associated parent support, the meet was, for the first time in several years, able to gain official ASA status and a number of swimmers used the opportunity to record personal bests and qualify up the ASA Levels.
With an outstanding turn-out of around 55 swimmers, competition within many of the age groups was keen. Congratulations to all who took part in a great afternoon’s racing; overall winners and place getters in each age group will be announced at the 2018 prize giving, which will take place following the Annual General Meeting on Sunday 17 June at 10:30 am, at the St John Vianney Church Hall, 317 Hillsborough Road, Hillsborough
