The start of something extraordinary

Officials

Once your swimmer starts to compete we encourage you to participate at meets. Timepkeeping is an easy way to help out and watch your child swim at the same time. This simple task will familiarise you with how a meet is run and the people involved to make a swim meet official. From there you may also like to manage the team or become an official. Training with another parent can be arranged to ease you into these positions so please don't hesitate to contact Alison Collister at alison@timaruholidaypark.co.nz . Without people volunteering for these jobs our swim meets can't be made official and your swimmer's times won't count. All our managers and coaches are also police vetted for our swimmers and Clubs safety as required by Swim NZ.
