We have two coaches and they are employed by Timaru District Council. Our Head Coach is Oscar Van Stekelenborg and Ben Prebble is our Assistant Coach.
Oscar Van Stekelenborg
Oscar has had a long and distinguished coaching career over some 33 years. He started at small town Mosgiel and then spent time in Wellington and Invercargill before arriving at Timaru in 2010. He has a Silver Level Coaching Accreditation and has been awarded the NZ SCTA Service Award for Coaching for his numerous successes at National Age Group level.
Ben Prebble
Originally from Christchurch Ben has been teaching and coaching since 2013. New to Timaru this year, Ben previously coached with the Selwyn Swim Team. Standing 6ft 6in he is easy to spot poolside. When not coaching Ben enjoys archery, building and designing costumes and playing the bagpipes.
