Northwave Swim Club is located at the Whangarei Aquatic Centre. Our club has a proud history. Northwave swimmers have ongoing success at National Championship level and swimmers have represented NZ.
Our coach Monica Cooper has been coaching for close to 30yrs, became a SNZ Level 3 Coach in 1996 and is a Silver Licence coach. Monica has been very involved with coach education, was Chairman of Swimming Education NZ iand is a past Board Member of the NZ Swimming Federation and Swimming NZ.
Our committee works behind the scenes to give our swimmers the support they need and our parents continue to up skill as officials at both regional and national level.
