The New Zealand Swimming Trust was established in 1989 to promote the disciplines of the sport of swimming and to assist athletes who have the potential to represent their country.
Over the years, the Trust has supported many developing international athletes and has now introduced an award for the New Zealand Swimming Trust Emerging Swimmer of the Year.
This year’s Emerging Swimmer Award went to Wilrich Coetzee from North Shore Swimming Club.
