Whether its learning to swim, competitive swimming or if yoit just want to stay fit Hillcrest swim club is the club.

 

Hillcrest swim club teach, train and nurture swimmers at all stages from learner strokes to Olympic greats.  We strive to inspire and develop our swimmers across all programs with our experienced qualified coaches delivering exceptional results.

 

Primary school age upwards, Hillcrest swim club offers a range of Learn to Swim classes operated through Swimgym Hillcrest from beginners to refining strokes and a complement of squads from transitional and fundamentals to high level competitive senior squads. 

The club and learn to swim operates from two outdoor heated pools. 

• Hillcrest Normal School during summer months

  • McCracken Avenue, Hillcrest, Hamilton

• Hamilton East community pool during, all year round

  • Located at Hamilton Boys Highschool HBHS 

Learn to Swim

Starting from 5 years of age the Swimgym Hillcrest program is structured to ensure your child will constantly move forward building confidence and skills.  From floating, breathing, kicking through to mastering all 4 strokes then introducing distance, your child will learn to swim while having fun. Our club is well renowned for its old school, family friendly inclusive club values.

Squads

The club offers a range of squads based on ability ranging from beginner swimmers through to senior level. All squad swimmers are encouraged to compete either at club night, carnivals or championship meets and are supported and encouraged at their respective level of competition.

NOTICE:
 Regular payments for Swim fees:

There is a possibility of setting up regular payments each week for swim fees. The club is happy to accommodate this as long as fees are paid by the end of the term.  Please contact the Treasurer at this email if you wish to set this up:  treasurer@hillcrestasc.co.nz
