REGISTRATION

Registration and payment is completed online. The 2018-19 membership categories for Swimzone Racing are “Club membership” and “Competitive membership”. Payment is made at the same time as registration via credit card. A 3% credit card surcharge also applies and is added to the total fee.

CLUB MEMBERSHIP

* Fee = $65/year
* Swimmers can race in any 25m, 50m or 100m event as per Swimming New Zealand rules.
* Swimmers can enter any meet in New Zealand that accepts club membership entries including Need4Speed and Timezone Meets.
* Swimmers with club membership are not able to swim in regional (Wellington Champs) or national championships.
* This membership category is not available to anyone in the Killerwhale, Barracuda, Mako, Marlin and Dolphin squads.

COMPETITIVE MEMBERSHIP

* Fee = $200/year. All swimmers in the Killerwhale, Barracuda, Mako, Marlin and Dolphin squads are required to be competitive members.
* Swimmers in any squad can become competitive members, and the STINGRAY squads are strongly encouraged to become competitive members. Swimmers will not be moved up to the Killerwhale squad until they are a competitive member of SZR.
* Swimmers can race in any distance and any stroke at any meet in New Zealand.
* Swimmers are eligible for all club social activities, camps, away meets, and local swim leagues (please note some of these have qualifying criteria).

If a swimmer wants to upgrade their membership from club to competitive at anytime during the swimming season (July 2017 – June 2018) the cost will be $195.00 less any club membership fee already paid for the season.

HOW DO I JOIN

It is easy - just click the JOIN button at the top of the page and fill in the relevant information. Fees are paid online using a credit card. Please note you cannot join for the new season until after July 1st 2018.
