The start of something extraordinary

High Performance Centre Programme

The National High Performance Centre (NHPC) programme is a partnership between Swimming New Zealand, the AUT Millennium Institute and High Performance Sport New Zealand (HPSNZ). Most of New Zealand’s elite swimmers are based at the Institute. Entry to the squad is by application.

The Wellington Regional High Performance Centre (WRHPC) programme is a partnership between Swimming New Zealand, Swimming Wellington, Wellington High Performance Aquatics (WHiPA), Capital Swim Club and Wellington City Council. This HPC offers a second option to swimmers to train outside of Auckland. Entry to the squad is by application.
