Club Champs

OVERVIEW

* All club members are entered in the club championships.

* Club championship points can be scored in any official swim meet or Timezone between 1st May 2015 and 30th April 2016.

* The swimmer’s age will be the age they are on the 31st October 2015.

* Male and female swimmers will compete separately in different age groups.

* Age groups and events scored are detailed below. Please note that if the swimmer is younger than 12 years, then not all events are scored.

SCORING POINTS

* The swimmer’s PB (best time) in each event will be compared with others in the same age group.

* The swimmer with the best time in each event will receive 26 points, 2nd - 21 points, 3rd - 17 points and so on.

* “NT” or no times will receive 0 points.

* Tip – Swim as many events as possible during the swimming year to maximize your points.

* At the end of the swimming year (30 April 2016), points awarded to each swimmer in each event will be added together to find

the male and female club champion for each age group.
