Code of Conduct

 

All swimmers must agree to the following code of conduct whilst away from home at Age Groups, Swim Meets and Swim Camps.

- Follow instruction from the Coach/Supervisor

- Be courteous and understanding of fellow swimmers

- Be respectful of adults in charge

- Follow rules for wake up times and quiet times

- Not to interfere with any other persons ability to work hard

- Stay with the group unless instructed otherwise

- Arrive on time for transport to pool sessions and Team Meetings

- Be prepared to give everything a go

- Ask for help if required or if a problem arises

- Report untoward behaviour within the group

- Inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated

- Be supportive of the group around you

- Abide by in-house rules

- Respect others needs for naps and quiet times.

 

In House Rules

- Abide by the Cell Phone rules applied

- No noise afterlights out

- No girls in boys rooms and no boys in girls rooms ar all times

- Keep your rooms tidy

- No sweets on camp, no food in the bedrooms

- Leave the building quietly for morning sessions

 

In addition our club rules must be adhered to:

- Agree to abide by the code of conduct

- Never argue with officials. Always use the appropriate rules and guidleines to resolve a dispute.

- Control your temper. Verbal abuse of officials and compeititors are not acceptable behaviours

- Work equally hard for yourself and/or your team

- Be a good sport. Applaud all good performances, whether they are made by your team or the opposition.

- Treat all participants as you would like to be treated. Do not bully or take unfair advantage of another competitor.

Co-operate with your teammates, coach and opponents.

- Participate for your own enjoyment and benefit, not just to please parents and coaches

- Respect the rights, dignity and worth of all participants, regardless of their gender, ability, cultural background or religion.

- Be fair, considerate and honest with others.
