Lyn’s dedication to swimming spans some 30 years during which time she has served her club at every level over a 15 year period whilst also being involved with Swimming Southland.
Lyn moved into senior positions and was Southland President between 2001 and 2003. During her period of involvement with the region Lyn managed numerous Southland teams and several NZ teams.
All this administrative and management activity did not keep her busy enough and Lyn progressed through the Technical Officials ranks. Her list of appointments over the years fills several pages.
Lyn is the Lower South Island member of SNZ’s Technical Advisory Committee and has served as Meet Director at a number of SNZ events. She is on the FINA Referees List and has been appointed to officiate at the Doha FINA World Short Course Championships later this year.
