Disabilities and Swimming

Swimming New Zealand recognises all individuals have the right to learn to swim. Swimming is a fully inclusive activity for everyone to take part in and Swimming New Zealand is committed to supporting the inclusion of all disabled children, providing them with the opportunity to participate at an appropriate level with the support they require.

Here you will find useful information on the different swimming pathways available to swimmers with a disability in New Zealand.
