Te Awamutu swimmer Vanessa Ouwehand added two more to her medal tally on the penultimate day of the Victorian Age Championships.
Ouwehand, 14, was first home in the 100m backstroke in 1:05.82 and collected the bronze medal in the 400m individual medley with a time of 5:10.28 to take her overall tally for the meet to five gold and a bronze.
Joshua Taylor-Martin (Enterprise) was also back on top of the podium in his third golden performance of the meet.
The 15 year old won the 200m freestyle in 1:53.90, just .26 seconds off breaking a national age group record.
Mary Tate (United) and Joshua Gilbert (Stratford) also made the podium yesterday.
Tate was third in the 15 year olds 200m breaststroke in 2:46.22 while Gilbert claimed second in the 13 year olds 100m breaststroke in 1:12.15.
Others in finals were Maggie Franks (Central Hawkes Bay), Libby Bradley (Greerton), Josh McCormack-Goeth (St Peters), Michael Woods (Te Awamutu), Cole McDowell (Thames), Thomas Hughson (Howick Pakuranga), Christopher Chen (Parnell), Millie MacDonald (Parnell), Maxwell Stubbs (Te Awamutu) and Chelsea Ouwehand (Te Awamutu).
