Three more gold on final day of Victorian Age Championships

There were three Kiwi’s topping the podium on the final day of the Victorian Age Championships in Melbourne yesterday.

Joshua Taylor-Martin (Enterprise) enjoyed his fourth win of the meet in the 15 year olds 200m individual medley coming home in 2:10.26.

He was also fourth in the 100m butterfly in 59.70.

Napier Aquahawks swimmer Ruby Adsett was first home in the 14 year olds 200m freestyle in 2:07.96.

Adsett also picked up the silver medal in the 800m freestyle in 9:13.91 while fellow Kiwi Olivia Corrin (Enterprise) finished up fourth in 9:22.18.

Chelsea Ouwehand (Te Awamutu) claimed her first win of the meet in the 17-18 year olds 200m butterfly touching in 2:20.99.

Others in finals were Mary Tate (St Peters), Libby Bradley (Greerton), Christopher Johnson (Stratford), Joshua Gilbert (Stratford), Daniel Caldwell (St Peters), and Cole McDowell (Thames).
