Costs
For budgeting purposes swimmers should budget $120.00 per day for an away meet, plus the cost of any flights. More often the cost is less than this, but this will give you some idea of the costs associated with travelling with the team to swim.
Travel Booked
Canterbury Champs Junior – 12 yrs and under
This is being held in Ashburton on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th January 2018.
This is a family meet and the Club will not be booking any travel or accommodation for families.
Team Managers and Coaches to be advised.
Canterbury Champs Senior – 13 years and over
The team will be travelling by bus to Dunedin on Tuesday 16th January 2018 and returning on Sunday 21st January. The team will be staying at Carrington College as in previous years.

2018 NZ Junior Festival – Makos – Dunedin 16th – 18th February 2018
Accommodation has been booked at Beach Lodge Motels. As accommodation is as rare as hens teeth that weekend, due to the National Pipe Band thingee and the Robbie Williams concert, accommodation will be allocated to the swimmer and 1 parent (per family) at this stage. We will let you know closer to the time if we have any extra accommodation for other family members.
Transport will be the responsibility of each family at this stage. If there is a demand for team travel we will revisit this.
2018 NZ Division II Champs - Rotorua – 18th – 21 March 2018
Accommodation has been booked at the Silver Fern Rotorua.

2018 National Age Group Championships - Auckland - 17th – 21st April 2018
Accommodation has been booked at Albany Executive
Flights for Managers are: Christchurch - Auckland Monday 16th April NZ532 departing 9.30am arriving 10.50am
Auckland – Christchurch Sunday 22nd April NZ535 departing 11.00am arriving 12.25pm
When booking your flights please ensure that your booking is within 1 hour of the managers flights.
