SNZ Events
Training is available so you can gain your timekeeper’s badge. OSC pays for examination and registration fees. There is a practical component as well as a theory/oral assessment. The assessor will talk you through any questions you may be unsure about. This qualification allows you to officiate at outside carnivals as well and we expect parents to help out at these.
General requirement
Officials – At least one parent who has a child/children in ’Squads’ must become a swimming official – minimum requirement timekeeper.
