The start of something extraordinary

Swimsation carnival a great success

During Term 1 this year Swimsation Moana Pool held a "Swimsation Carnival" for all their learn to swim children to see what it was like to compete.

A $2 entry fee confirmed there spot in the race with ribbons going to those in first, second and third.

Jeffery Calder, head instructor at Swimsation, said the children absolutely loved the opportunity to see what it was like to race against their friends.

Many of the children that attended the Swimsation Carnival have now chosen swimming as their sport of choice!

There was lots of fun had by all with spot prizes, coin diving, floating competitions and a BBQ ready to feed the hungry children after their swim.

It was a great way to display to all friends and family how far the children had come in their swimming lessons and a great way to bridge the gap from learn to swim to competition.
