| The NZ Junior Festival – Makos Zone is one of four festivals aimed at junior swimmers (12 years and under) held by Swimming New Zealand. |
| The festivals are held concurrently around the country in each of the four zones, and are as follows Harlequins (Auckland), Aqua Knights (Rotorua), All Stars (Wellington), and Makos (Dunedin). |
| The Makos Festival is held in conjunction with Swimming Otago as the Host Region and will be held on the 16-18 February 2018, at the Moana Pool, Dunedin**. |
| The Makos Zone includes all clubs from the Nelson/Marlborough, Canterbury West Coast, Otago, and Southland regions. |
