The 2015 edition of the FINA/Airweave Swimming World Cup will kick-off in Moscow (RUS) on August 11-12 with the presence of many stars aiming at shining in this prestigious 50m-pool circuit. Among them, the 2013 and 2014 winners of the series, Chad Le Clos (RSA) in the men’s field and Katinka Hosszu (HUN) in the women’s category.
During a press conference held today in Kazan, Russia, FINA launched the 2015 FINA/airweave Swimming World Cup with the first leg of the series set to resume on August 11-12 in Moscow, Russia.
FINA would to clarify that the situation with the relay events, during the preliminaries on August 2, 2015 with the occasion of the 16th FINA World Championships in Kazan (RUS), was due to an administrative error, without any involvement of the official timing/data provider of the competition.
