Lausanne (SUI), November 7, 2012 – Hungary’s Katinka Hosszu was once more the swimmer to beat in the seventh leg of the FINA/ARENA Swimming World Cup, taking place in Tokyo (JPN) on November 6-7, 2012.

Lausanne (SUI), October 19, 2012 – The squad from the host federation clinched four titles during the fourth leg of the FINA/ARENA Swimming World Cup, organised in Moscow (RUS) from October 17-18.
Lausanne (SUI), October 18, 2012 – After the deadline (October 15, 2012), FINA received formal bids, the Cities/National Federations of Hong Kong (HKG), Windsor/Detroit (CAN/USA) and United Arab Emirates (city to be confirmed) are the final candidates to the organisation of the FINA World Swimming Championships (25m) in 2016, and eventually 2018.
Lausanne (SUI), October 17, 2012 – A total 83 swimmers (34 women and 49 men) from eight countries took to the water in Shantou, China, on October 13, the final stop of the FINA 10km Marathon Swimming World Cup, which would decide the overall winners of the 2012 circuit.
Stockholm (SWE), October 14, 2012 – Hungary’s Katinka Hosszu was the most prolific swimmer in the third leg of the FINA/ARENA Swimming World Cup 2012, held in Stockholm (SWE) on October 13-14.
Lausanne (SUI), October 8, 2012 – Doha, in Qatar, successfully staged the second leg of the FINA/ARENA Swimming World Cup from October 6-7.
Lausanne (SUI), October 8, 2012 – Brazil’s Ana Marcela Cunha reinforced her lead in the women’s field by winning the seventh leg of the FINA 10km Marathon Swimming World Cup in Hong Kong on October 7.
