16th FINA World Championships

The Kazan Arena 2nd August - 9th August 2015

In 2015, the FINA World Championships will be held for the first time in Russia. The event will be hosted by Kazan that won the bid in July 2011 after beating Guadalajara (Mexico) and Hong Kong.


The FINA World Championships will be held in Kazan on July 24-August 9, 2015. It is expected that the event will bring together 2,500 athletes and 1,800 officials representing up to 200 nations. A record number of medal events (75) will be contested at the 2015 Championships in Kazan.
